These are the benchmarks we use to evaluate websites in our UI/UX Audit.

Brightness

Standard: ≥ 60

Overall visual brightness of the page should be at least 60 for good readability.

Text Contrast

Standard: WCAG AA+

Text must meet minimum contrast ratios against background for accessibility.

Buttons (total)

Standard: Contextual

Buttons should be clear and relevant, not excessive or hidden.

Small Buttons (<48x48)

Standard: 0

Interactive elements should be large enough for touch on mobile.

Performance (mobile)

Standard: ≥ 0.85

Google Lighthouse mobile performance score should be at least 0.85.

Load Time

Standard: < 3s

Pages should load within 3 seconds for a good user experience.

Standard: ≥ 1

Navigation should be present and easy to discover.

Clear CTA

Standard: Yes

Pages should contain a clear call-to-action such as 'Contact' or 'Get Started'.

Avoid autoplaying/moving elements that distract or harm accessibility.

Visual Clarity

Standard: High / Clean

Layout should not look cluttered, keep clean and consistent spacing.

Standard: ≤ 3 fonts, ≤ 4 colors
